The Lithium-Ion technology used in V-TES’ Battery solution is a type of rechargeable battery that is commonly used in portable electronic devices, such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets. Lithium-ion batteries are known for their high energy density, which means they can store a lot of energy in a relatively small space.
They are also relatively lightweight, which makes them ideal for use in portable devices, such as V-TES’ energy storage containers. Unlike older battery technologies, such as nickel-cadmium (NiCd) batteries, Lithium-Ion batteries do not suffer from a phenomenon known as "memory effect," which can cause a decrease in the battery's overall performance over time. This allows for V-TES’ clients to utilise this battery solution for a prolonged period, with very low maintenance.
